About Jay Frederick
I am Jay Frederick, a PHR-certified recruiter and talent acquisition professional who has spent over a decade on the other side of the hiring table. I built my career in staffing and agency work, placing candidates across industries ranging from corporate finance to healthcare operations to tech. I have sat across from nervous new grads, returning professionals who had been out for years, and executives stepping into the biggest roles of their careers.
What I kept seeing was the same problem: talented people who were fully qualified for the job, losing it in the interview because they did not know the game they were playing. They were not bad candidates. They were unprepared ones. And there is a massive difference.
That is why I built Career Confidence. It is my platform for everything I wish more job seekers knew before they walked into that room. After you book, you will receive a short prep form. I need your current resume, the job description you are targeting, and a few lines about your biggest concern going into the interview. That is it. The more specific you are, the more targeted the session will be.
